fratboy!michael wearing his snapback & jack daniels shirt approaching you after class with a smirk on his face and handing you a piece of paper before winking at you & walking off. you open the paper and start reading & are thoroughly confused at the grocery list he handed you, before michael mutters “oh shit” and runs back towards you, taking the paper out of your hands and replacing it with another smaller with his number written on it.
you know that one album that youve listened to so many times and youd defend it with your life and you can anticipate every single little note that comes after the other and you can sing along to every word and it just has a special place in your heart that no other album can fill
One time in sixth grade I was being bullied really badly, and this whole circle of people gathered around me and the girl that was bullying me, and she smirked and went ‘You dumb rich bitch.’ And everyone was like OOOOOOH and I stood there for a second before pulling 20 dollars out of my wallet, placed it in her hand, and said “Buy some better insults.” And I swear the entire lunchroom rioted.
Barefooters pride is looking down at the black soles of your feet as evidence of living. Wearing shoes is the same as wearing gloves, they “protect” your skin but you feel nothing. Think about that, you’ve gone most of your life without feeling the floor beneath your feet. That’s like eating without tasting. Don’t wait to walk only in a forest green and don’t let the fear of being cut or the negative things others say hold you back from living. Go barefoot where ever you are, rough or smooth, hot or cold you NEED to feel the floor beneath your feet to know what it is to truly feel alive.
Break the chains that hold you down. Mind body and spirit be free, live barefoot.
